In the heart of Tribeca, within the walls of a once-bustling candy company, is a loft that has witnessed four decades of creativity and cultural radiance. Since 1977, this unique space has been home to the renowned American playwright Edward Albee.
With its rich history and architectural character, 14 Harrison Street has provided the backdrop for countless chapters in Albee's life and artistic journey. From penning his iconic plays to hosting star-studded gatherings, this loft has been an integral part of Albee's legacy.
Today, the loft stands as a testament to the enduring connection between space and creativity. Its storied past and ongoing presence in the life of one of America's most celebrated playwrights make it a cherished landmark in the Tribeca neighborhood.
